Push notifications help you stay updated with important alerts from our app. To make sure they are turned on, you’ll need to check your phone’s settings. How you do this depends on your device.
- Open the ‘Settings’ app on your phone.
- Tap ‘Notifications’.
- Select ‘App notifications’ or ‘See all apps’.
- Find and select ‘Capital.com’.
- Turn on the ‘Allow notifications’ toggle.
- Optional: Change how notifications appear (sound, vibration, lock screen, etc).
- Open the ‘Settings’ app on your device.
- Tap ‘Notifications’.
- Find and select ‘Capital.com’.
- Turn on the ‘Allow Notifications’ toggle.
- Optional: Change how notifications appear (lock screen, banners, sounds, badges, etc).
Additional tips:
- If you limit options, such as disabling banners or sounds, you might miss important alerts.
- Make sure ‘Do Not Disturb’ or ‘Focus’ modes are not preventing notifications from showing.
- Some brands may use different names for menus. If you can’t find the relevant settings on your device, try searching online for steps specific to your model.
